10 boxing fights we want to see in 2019 - №9

Boxing - news

Under number nine we have the fight between Josh Taylor vs Regis Prograis.

Josh Taylor is Scotland's representative, who on 27 January turned 27, with a personal record of 14 matches / 14 wins - 12 of which by KO.

Regis Prograis is a US official who turned 29 on January 24th, with a personal record of 23 matches / 23 wins - 19 of which by KO.

The meeting between the two can be done in the WBSS (World Boxing Super Series) tournament, but there is no reason not to go out of this tournament. Prograis is the holder of the WBC "diamond" title, while Taylor has the title of WBC "silver". Currently, Jose Ramirez is the absolute champion in this category. The tie between Taylor and Prograis will be even more intriguing if the winner comes out of the ring against Ramirez. At the time, it was announced that Prograis would fight with Kiryl Relikh, and Taylor would go against Ivan Baranchyk. If both win their matches, they have to face each other on the finals in the WBSS tournament in the summer of 2019.
