Joshua vs Povetkin

Boxing - news

Joshua said his style of play would be extremely aggressive against Povetkin.

In his next meeting, Anthony Joshua will put his prizes from IBF, WBA and WBO belts at his fight with Povetkin on Wembley - September 22.

Joshua said he had been training hard to beat in his last three matches, Vladimir Klitschko, Carlos Takam and Joseph Parker.

Each of these three matches passed 10 rounds and he will do everything he can to finish much faster his upcoming fight with Povetkin.

"I will go out into the ring and win against Povetkin, as I would with any of my other opponents."

"How will I do it? Most likely, I'll just box and stick to simple strategies, I'll keep my guard up and go pound-for-pound, trade-for-trade."

"The reason I'm saying this is that I can stay for a long time in the ring and win by points, but I can finish the game very quickly, all depends on my current opponent."

"I analyze each of my opponents at every stroke and change my style through the rounds."
